Growing up,Ive never been able to compare myself.Its been impossible.
Being Chinese and Jamaican, its not like theres loads of Chinese-Jamaican London girls.
But also I just think theres something so beautiful about sad music you’re able to dance to.
And outside of music, Griff has a fond appreciation for films from Wes Anderson.
I lost my confidence.
I found it again.
I lost it again.
It was like, theres so much confusion and sadness in this album.
Its quite unfortunate that thats whats changed, almost.
But I also think on the other side, Ive got a lot better at producing.
I think Ive written some of my best songs on this.
So as the themes maybe get heavier, I think those songs, hopefully, are better.
