I have something personal to share.
Ill be with this newscast until December.
It has been a hard, sad decision that took a lot of time to make.

This is how 40 years end with Univision, 38 of which were with Noticiero.
Seventeen of which I anchoredAl Punto.
Ramos has co-anchored Noticiero Univision since 1986 and has hosted a weekend magazine show calledAl Punto.
He was infamouslykicked out of a news conferenceby Donald Trump in 2015 after Ramos pressed him on immigration policy.

I am so thankful for these four decades.
This was literally my second home, Ramos said in Mondays telecast.
I am so proud of being part of this great team of journalists over the years.
Theyre my friends, my family, and I wish them the best.
This is not an immediate goodbye.
Ill be here tomorrow with the news.
