Billy Joels Garden residency might be over, but the Piano Man remains touring, scheduling co-headlining stadium gigs with the likes of Sting, Stevie Nicks, andRod Stewart, who shared the bill with Joel Friday night in Cleveland.
As with the previous shows with Sting and Nicks, there was some crossover between the two sets, with Stewart appearing onstage to perform the Faces Stay With Me with Joel and his band.

The Cleveland concert marked Joels first show in over a month, and only his second concert since hebid goodbye to his long-running Madison Square Garden residencyin July, a performancehighlighted by a guest appearance by Axl Rose.

Joel will finish up his 2024 touring duties with a show later this month in St. Louis the first of three more co-headlining shows with Sting this year followed by a solo performance at Los Angeles new Intuit Dome on October 12.
