Diaz is seeking at least $1 million in damages.
Hernandez had struck Diaz various times, she alleged, including at the baptism of her daughter.
Hernandez allegedly told Diaz that she was to blame for his violence toward her, per the suit.

He also rented villas for parties with her friends, saying that he paid for all the expenses.
Diaz said she discovered the alleged theft in August and ended the relationship then.
The new lawsuit is the latest in along line of legal troublesHernandez has faced over the years.
He was arrested in the Dominican Republic ondomestic violence chargesat the beginning of 2024.
