David Gilmourstopped byThe Tonight Showto perform his recent song, Dark and Velvet Nights.
The album marks Gilmours first new solo album in nearly a decade, following 2015sRattle That Lock.
The title track features keyboards by Pink Floyds Richard Wright, which was recorded at Gilmours house in 2007.

He added of the LP, To me this is very special.
I only heard about it years later, he told Fallon.
He said he has tried synching the vinyl LP to the movie, although now its available online.

Gilmour is currently on tour in support of Luck and Strange.
He is scheduled to performtwo more nights at Madison Square Gardenin New York City this weekend.
